These new to the market clear Timmy fang detents are made of a somewhat harder durometer polyurethane material rather than rubber and are slightly longer than the stock Spyder detents in your marker. This can aide your marker with an improved ball retention. In return, they help prevent the paintballs from inadvertently pushing through them and creating chops or barrel roll through. The polyurethane material lasts longer, tolerates C02 much better and deters that pushed forward memory from extended use.
Some MR series owners have chosen to install these detents and noticed a reduction in chopping. Even those that choose to use the heavier forced action hoppers such as the HALO and Q-loader.
These clear polyurethane Timmy detents come in packs of 3, no modifications needed and are very simple to install. They will fit any Spyder perfectly as well as any other manufacturers marker that uses the nubby fang type ball stopper detent.
